to put things into objective, i think no one is important enough to stop the world from spinning. regardless of the incident, be it death, departure or anything else. yes, you will be remembered, but it does not mean that people will stop leading their lives. life goes on as usual and gradually, your importance will be less significant.
nobody knows what will happen in future as life is often unpredictable. but the memories i had will linger and stay with me. it will be like a photo album where i take it out once a while to reminiscence about and smile at. however, my life goes on and there are more things that i have to fufill.
perhaps in life, farewell is always hard but essential. this is when you start to mature and inject a new perspective.
