stories time... i heard two stories on the radio, sounds pretty nice and i am sure ya guys will appreciate it. here is the first one:
once, a canadian guy and swedish girl (erm, cannot remember the exact country lar so take it as swedish) met in a winter vacation. they hit it off real well and spent the vacation together. they had numerous topics to talk about and were real close. and when ya are having a great time, time tends to fly. and soon the holiday is over. but interestingly, they both forgotten to get the contact number of each other when they left. and when the canadian guy got back, he regretted not asking for her number, as he felt that she could be "the One" in his life. he flew to sweden and using the media, attempted to look for her. alas!!! the girl has a common swedish name and there were 6000 plus gals with the same name as her. so not wanting to lose this opportunity, he wrote a letter to each of the 6000 plus gals. fortuntately, for him, the gal's brother read the newspaper and told his sister. yup, and they are finally reunited.
sounds so romantic rite but it keeps me wondering how many people will be like the canadian guy? he went through so much effort to find the gal. i mean how many times will someone do that for a gal he met for few weeks. for me, i kind of understand as i was once as silly. will i be as silly again? no one knows as my journey is still long. but i think he truly believes in living life with no regrets. and good for him that he got the girl!!! i will be damn sad for him if he did'nhaha... story no. 2
it has been raining for days. and this man suddenly began walking out of his house and screamed to the the sky, " can you hear me god? why are you torturing us with days of downpour? my rooftop is ruined! rain keeps entering my house!!! my rations are destroyed by the rain and i have no clean clothes as all of them are wet!!! ...... "
he went on and on till a stranger walked by. the stranger questioned the man, " why do ya keep screaming at god? are'n ya afraid that god will punish ya by having a drought instead? " to that, the man replied, " nope, he wun!!! he is deaf!!!"
and next the man answered, " since you think god is deaf, why do you waste your time screaming at him in the rain? should'n you be repairing your rooftop, find more rations and think of a way to get dry clothes instead?"
yup, i totally dig this story. i think many times people spent too much time complaining instead of getting the problem solved. i am not pointing fingers as all of us are guilty of that to some extent, including myself (i have to admit). so we shld attempt to solve the problem and not waste time complaining and blaming others. i know this is not an easy thing to do but i am sure ya will be a happier person as less time is spent on being frustrated!!!haha, i think i suck as a storyteller. hope ya guys understand the story. and i realise i tend to be easily bored when i am stressed or there are exams. haha, been bloggin everyday non-stop!!! enjoy the stories!!
